How can Tiaki Scribe support your practice?
Tiaki Scribe (powered by Whio) is an Aotearoa-developed AI assistant that helps midwives reduce documentation workload, improve note consistency, and spend more time in relationship-based care.
With clear informed consent, it turns your recorded visit into a draft note – you always review, edit, and approve the final clinical note.
With the initial trial underway we are opening more spaces for midwives to trial Tiaki Scribe in real practice. You be provided with access to Tiaki Scribe, full onboarding, training, and support completely free until 31 March 2026. Setup is quick and new features are released regularly – shaped directly by midwife feedback.

How it works
Tiaki Scribe is a digital assistant built specifically for midwives and midwifery practice. Simply follow 5 simple steps:
Step 1. Obtain informed consent (the app reminds you)
Step 2. Tap Start visit and complete the appointment as usual
Step 3. Tap End visit, select the woman and visit type
Step 4. Review, edit and approve the draft summary
Step 5. Copy into BadgerNet or the system you use to complete your documentation
You stay in full control – Tiaki Scribe does not provide clinical decision support and is not used for labour or birth documentation.
